Interview Preparation Tips

Interview preparation tips for other job seekers - To begin with, interview is a selection process were the prospective candidates will have to face the recruiters for selection. There might be multiple selection rounds in any interview, but I would like to advice few key points for which the candidates should be prepared or follow them to be effective in impressing the recruiters during the selection processes.
1. Candidates should follow decent and professional etiquettes while attending the interview.
2. Be soft spoken, but confident during the interview.
3. Candidates should be very well aware of their respective domain knowledge. (Search for multiple interview questions of the respective job domain in any available online sites, and be aware of them). This is useful because many times interviewers ask questions that are not based from our educational degrees but however very technical and questions are inline with the job description.
4. Be frank with your answers or opinions with the interviewer.
5. Interview rounds may last for several minutes to hours. Here during this conversation candidates may fail to answer couple of questions that the interviewer asks which may be very difficult or unaware of, where the candidates should not lose confident and be frank to open up that they are not aware of these questions.
6. Be aware of the company that you are appliying for. For e.g. The kind of business the company is into, their vision and mission, their geographical presense, and the products/ services they offer and etc.
7. Have an sensible answer from your side for why you should be hired for this company if at all they are willing to hire you.
8. If the interviewer give you an opportunity to ask them any question if any, then please go ahead and ask question which you want to ask them, for e.g. about the company or the tasks which you might be work on if hired and etc.
9. After the interview is over, it is good to walk out of the interview venue/ chamber with a act of gratitude to the interviewer like Thank You, it's been a pleasure meeting you, have a good day sir/mam and with formal shake hand.
