Interview preparation tips for other job seekers - I was interviewed with gigamon. Initial round was screening to check if profile matches their requirements or not. Next was technical round who touch based all Linux internals and stack. Both screening and 1st technical rounds were gentle with patience to listen candidates answers calmly.
There was another technical round with balaji lakshmi. I strongly felt he was impatient, rude and unnecessarily making negative assumptions about the technical answers given to him. At the same time I felt like he needs to brush up his technical knowledge before judging the answers. He was not even aware of how race condition and data corruption occurs. He doesn't even know the process virtual address space boundaries.
I believe each round with such people should be recorded so that the team knows his communication skills and his technical abilities.
Not sure about the impact of contributions these kind of people make!
