Description

• Build and demonstrate a strong sense of customer intimacy, working backwards from customer problems and translating to well-understood use cases.
• Write concise and complete requirements, working cross functionality with stakeholders for feedback and aligning with engineering team(s) to ensure the asks are understood.
• Develop and maintain an understanding of market trends and where the competition is both at and heading.
• Drive vision, strategy, and roadmap across both internal stakeholders and interested parties, as well as externally with customers and channel partners.
• Help drive the release planning process from planning to release delivery.
• Be an evangelist for Gigamon business, and the larger Gigamon value prop.
• Work and coordinate within a strong and large team spread across the globe, with focus points in California and India.

• 15+ years of experience in product management, building enterprise products is required.
• Prior experience in networking required.
• Product experience from launch to iteration to product End of Sale/Life/ Support.
• BS degree in a related field, MBA strongly preferred.
• Well-rounded Product Management skills, from working with customers to understand pain points, translating these into well written requirements, articulating the needs both at a technical and business level.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience and ability to work cross-functionally, with Engineering, Project Management, Marketing, and Technical Marketing/Product Marketing with a global team in multiple time zones.
