This round is generally easiest for me ;)

I applied via Recruitment Consulltant and was interviewed in Jan 2022. There were 2 interview rounds.

Round 1 - Coding Test

This is kind of mixed round with both technical questions followed by coding test. This position if for SR RPA developer(uipath) so I was asked about UiPath and then was asked to extract data from some pdf invoices using document understanding.
I was asked if I know Power BI,( if they have had a look at my resume before shortlisting my profile, they would have known that I dont have any exposure to power BI),Still they shortlisted it.

Round 2 - Technical

(1 Question)

  • Q1. Combined tech and coding round

Interview Preparation Tips

Interview preparation tips for other job seekers - The whole story:
I was approached by a consultancy regarding this job opportunity with Dentsu,Bangalore COE.
Pathetic experience right from the beginning.
I told my CTC expectation and the HR(consultancy) was like 'Dentsu offers only 30-40% hike at max.'. and I was like ' what! When did RPA skillset become a non-digital skill, that too when digital profiles recruitment is on a peak stage. (Trust me the hike % have gone all time high during the last 3-4 months for digital skillset.), But after 1 day, HR replied back saying that the company is ok to match my expectation.(this was a bit fishy).
Then,
The interview was rescheduled 4 times because they want to conduct interview after 3PM and during weekdays only and also the interview is for 1 hr and 30 mins (which is pretty much busy time as I work during UK hours and also 1.30 hrs seriously?)
Finally I compromised and i took half day leave to attend the interview.
I've answered pretty much everything they asked and have completed the data extraction task within the given time but I dont know what made them drop my profile.
This is what I came to conclusion :
They needed someone who is having POWER BI,VBA experience with RPA tools knowledge.
Then why the hell have they raised a CO to hire an sr. RPA developer for UIPATH?
Are they expecting everything to be done by a single resource, if that's the expectation then here's my Tip "READ THE RESUMES PROPERLY" before shortlisting.
Here's my tip to those who attend interviews for similar positions in this company:
Don't waste your precious time and dont compromise.Just because they are offering a job doesn't mean you have to compromise. When interviews are being scheduled on weekdays and for experienced professionals, its a common sense that the schedule has to be based on common available times for both the parties and if the interview is going to be more than an hour,it has to be scheduled on a weekend.
The whole interview seemed to be a timepass activity as the people (2 persons) interviewing me dropped one after the other saying that they had some work. Lol.
I had to attend interview at the time they wanted and by applying a leave but they couldn't wait.
