Technical questions which related to engine manufacturing.
5C component in an engine refers to the five critical components that are essential for the engine's operation.
5C components typically include cylinder, crankshaft, camshaft, combustion chamber, and cooling system.
These components work together to ensure proper functioning and performance of the engine.
For example, the cylinder houses the piston and combustion process, while the crankshaft converts linear motion into r
2 stroke engines have power strokes every revolution, while 4 stroke engines have power strokes every other revolution.
2 stroke engines have a simpler design with fewer moving parts compared to 4 stroke engines.
2 stroke engines require a mix of oil and fuel for lubrication, while 4 stroke engines have a separate oil reservoir.
2 stroke engines produce more power for their size but are less fuel efficient than 4 stroke e...
5S is a methodology used in industry for organizing and maintaining a clean, efficient, and safe work environment.
5S stands for Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain.
It involves organizing the workplace, eliminating waste, and standardizing processes to improve efficiency.

Mechanical design is the process of creating physical products and systems using engineering principles and techniques.
Involves designing components and assemblies for machines, vehicles, structures, etc.
Requires knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and CAD software.
Focuses on functionality, safety, and efficiency of the design.
Examples include designing a car engine, a robotic arm, or a bridge structure.
Shear stress is a type of stress that acts parallel to a surface, causing layers of material to slide past each other.
Shear stress is caused by forces applied parallel to a surface, leading to deformation.
It is calculated as force divided by the area over which the force is applied.
Shear stress is commonly seen in materials like fluids, where layers move at different speeds.
Examples include cutting paper with scissors,...
Categories of strength in machine design include static strength, fatigue strength, impact strength, and toughness.
Static strength: Ability to withstand a constant load without breaking.
Fatigue strength: Ability to withstand repeated loading over time.
Impact strength: Ability to withstand sudden shocks or impacts.
Toughness: Ability to absorb energy and deform without fracturing.

We were given a topic ( renewable v/s non renewable energy) , two minutes were given for thinking. .. everyone started racing .. i wanted to settle down and speak after one or two people are done.. and tried not to rush ... But everyone started talking simultaneously.. everytime I tried to speak someone else started ..
So one or two times i interrupted and said.." our voices are overlapping , lets just speak one at a time"..it worked for some time but ultimately that race continued so i also spoke a Little bit in the favour of renewable ( overlapping initially ,, but later on he/she stopped) .. that's it
1. Dont be rude
2. Mind that its a GD and not a debate
3. Be respectful and humble
4. Give others a chance to speak if you think someone is not able to .. ( by calling out their names..if you remember..
