Interview Preparation Tips

Round: Test
Experience: The aptitude test was pretty easy and contained common mathematical and puzzle type questions. The main aim of this round was to warm up the candidates for the technical round. The test duration was 30 minutes and the test had 30 questions.
Tips: A little practice of aptitude questions from any standard book would be enough.
Duration: 30 minutes

Round: Test
Experience: This section was a bit difficult as it was meant to sieve students who had the bare minimum technical knowledge required by the recruiters. The questions were all basic and were all theoretical. If the student has studied thoroughly all his course work then this test would be a piece of cake for him/her.
Tips: Be regular with your technical studies.
Duration: 30 minutes

Round: Technical Interview
Experience: I maintained a calm and enthusiastic aura and answered all the questions put in front of me. I must consider myself lucky to have answered all the questions based on the research project which did at BARC, Mumbai.
Tips: The atmosphere depends on how you manage to tackle the questions asked
by the interviewers. Stay calm and maintain an enthusiastic aura. Be bold with confident answers and try to lighten up the mood of the interviewers.

General Tips: Smart study is the mantra and not donkey work.
Skills: Confidence, Technical knowledge, enthusiasm
College Name: National Institute of Technology, Rourkela
Motivation: It is a part of a very large group which allows cross-industry exposure to its trainees and gives them the liberty to join any one of the industries after the training is complete.
Funny Moments: The time gap between the interview and the written round was about 8 hours and I had not slept the previous night due to the traveling. I was at my breaking point and was about the give up when the interviewer called me in.
