(4 Questions)

  • Q1. Exple in a Refrigeration cycle
  • Ans.

Refrigeration cycle is a process in which refrigerant absorbs heat from the indoor air and releases it outside to cool the indoor space.

    • Refrigerant absorbs heat from indoor air in the evaporator coil

    • Refrigerant is compressed in the compressor to increase its temperature and pressure

    • Refrigerant releases heat outside in the condenser coil

    • Refrigerant expands in the expansion valve to lower its temperature and pressure

  • Answered by AI
  • Q2. Main part of Refrigeration cycle
  • Ans.

The main part of the refrigeration cycle is the compressor.

    • The compressor is responsible for pressurizing the refrigerant gas, increasing its temperature and energy.

    • It then sends the high-pressure, high-temperature gas to the condenser coil to release heat and cool down.

    • Examples of compressors include reciprocating, rotary, and scroll compressors.

  • Answered by AI
  • Q3. Work of compressor
  • Ans.

The compressor is a vital component in an HVAC system responsible for pressurizing refrigerant to cool or heat the air.

    • Compresses refrigerant gas to increase its temperature and pressure

    • Sends the high-pressure gas to the condenser to release heat

    • Helps in circulating refrigerant throughout the system

    • Types of compressors include reciprocating, scroll, rotary, and centrifugal

  • Answered by AI
  • Q4. Define of a expansion value
  • Ans.

An expansion valve is a device in a refrigeration system that controls the flow of refrigerant into the evaporator.

    • Regulates the flow of refrigerant into the evaporator to maintain proper temperature and pressure

    • Helps to control the cooling capacity of the system

    • Can be thermostatic or electronic

    • Examples include thermostatic expansion valves (TXV) and electronic expansion valves (EXV)

Interview Preparation Tips

Interview preparation tips for other job seekers - If candidate going for payroll selection then its good to join however if candidate select for off role ( team lease) then pls don’t join or do only for next two years coz after 4 years in team lease they convert your contract to Voltas contractual employee or rejoined you from another firm( employer provider like team lease).

Hence! You are valuable person to company but they don’t want you as payroll ….. so, after four years, candidate is becoming to liable to gratuity fund ….. which is not Voltas policy….beware it’s a scam….I face this in DPG delhi division.

4 years in team lease
3 years in voltas contract…..( as fake promise for convert in payroll)

Later then ……no gratuity after 7 years working with voltas
