Round: Test
Experience: There are two sections ....1) verbal 2)analytical and reasoning. paper was little bit tough. i didn't remember the type of questions.

Round: HR Interview
Experience: The HR was very cool and friendly. He asked me general questions like "tell me about ur self","have u done any teamwork" etc and then he asked me about my favourite subject.Then he asked me to explain the subject considering him as an 8th class student. Then he asked me about my family background. And the interview was about 30mins.

General Tips: You must be very cool while facing interview and u should ur confidence and interest towards the company.

Experience: Resume based shortlisting initially.

Round: Interview
Experience: 3 rounds of interviews (15-20 minutes each)
 All topics were Metallurgy related
 Heat transfer, Phase diagrams (very basic Fe-C diagram), FEM-based technical questions, are concepts asked.
Tips: If they look interested in a particular aspect, pursue it, and drive the interview.
Be ready to be grilled on the things mentioned in your resume.
 For consulting companies alone (McKinsey and BCG), look at certain case studies. The book "Case in point", is a really good source.
 For most other core companies (like Reliance, Tata Steel, etc.), refreshing Iron and steel and Mechanical Metallurgy courses will help a lot.

Experience: Questions were simple but demanded faster solving ability especially the Quantitative ability section.
Tips: Solve every bit of R.S.Aggarwal for Aptitude problems. www.indiabix.com is a good site to solve questions from all the sections.
Duration: 90 minutes

Round: Interview
Experience: Started with self description to explaining what projects I was involved in. Talked about my role in the project. Then answered questions from C++ programming language and then wrote the program that the interviewer gave me to do.
Tips: Be Confident. Have the problem solving & "Yes I can Do" attitude. Go with a open mind. Listen to the interviewer carefully. Do not stammer. Keep yourself calm and cool. Be honest.

Round: Interview
Experience: Faced normal questions
Tips: Be confident & keep smiling. Keep track of your body language. Be fluent in speaking English.

General Tips: Be confident and a "can do" attitude will help you grab the job.

Experience: Candidates with CG equal to or higher than 8.0 were selected.

Round: Test
Experience: It was divided in 2 sets of 45 minutes each.
Coding: To write a function to find if a string is palindrome or not. 
Verbal+quant: These were CAT model questions.
Duration: 90 minutes

Experience: There were 2 rounds of this interview. Both were HR and questions based on resume and some general questions were asked.
Tips: I think I was selected because of my CG, coding skills and communication skills.

General Tips: If you're preparing for core, make sure you start revising your subjects soon. Keep your notes and concentrate on structures.
Skill Tips: I started my preparations in November by going through case study material available in lan and solving CAT questions.

Round: Interview
Experience: 1st round: Panel of two. Asked questions about the projects which were mentioned in the resume. A few questions were asked about the core intern which I did. Asked about the family background.10 got selected in the next round of interviews.
I think for the second round of interviews they selected on basis of CG.
No case studies were asked Just my opinion was asked in certain topics in the second interview which was taken by the partner of the firm. He asked my opinion about construction in India.
I did well in the interview and they liked my story about my projects.
Tips: I think for the second round of interviews they selected on basis of CG.
I started preparing in Mid-November. I think placement is more about yourself. Starting earlier doesn't help.

General Tips: 2nd years: Decide where your interest lies. Have a decent CG at least above 8.
3rd years: Know your interest. Have mock PIs and GDs. 

Be genuine. If you don’t know something just tell them, do not act to be over-smart.Just revise your basic level courses. Revise Contracts, IPM, Construction Management.

Experience: Initial shortlist was Walk-In.

Round: Technical Interview
Experience: Duration: 50 mins.
Resume based.

General Tips:  Have a good number of projects and know each and every aspect of the projects mentioned
 Have the ability to relate course content to the project development
Skill Tips: They were looking for Product Designers.

Experience: There will be 30 questions in each section and I would say standard of question was good
Tips: Time management is very important while solving questions. Your common scence and IQ is very important for solving questions specifically Quant's in cocubes. Don't panic

Round: Group Discussion
Experience: My favorite round. Very intellectual and exciting
Tips: Just say whatever relevant u know about the topic. Listen to others and give others time to speak don't interrupt others while they are saying something let him\her finish and then start. Don't speak too much just be appropriate
Duration: 15 minutes

Round: HR Interview
Experience: Very comforting keep calm and rock it
Tips: This are the most asked questions so prepare some good answers for it

Round: Technical Interview
Experience: Very stressful and frustrating section they just try to break you down but just don't keep calm and answer what you know
Tips: They may ask some puzzles also they asked me and the response time should be quick in that

General Tips: Be confident keep calm and be smart
Skill Tips: Just be confident keep your posture right and don't talk too much talk whatever is necessary and try to have a healthy interaction don't get frustrated
Skills: confidence , iq, presence of mind, bit programing skill for it

Motivation: This company has the best work culture

Round: Test
Experience: The aptitude test basically consisted of questions from Data Structures and some other simple algorithms and also on Object Oriented Analysis. The aptitude test was tricky (having negative markings +2/-1 scheme). To cross this test speed and skill are essential.

The next test was a coding exams there were three questions 
1) Given a linked list, link the odd nodes followed by the even nodes in place.
2) Given a dictionary of words find words that are anagrams of each other.
3) Given a binary tree and a node print that node's path from root.
Duration: 95 minutes

Round: Technical Interview
Experience: There were 4 rounds of interviews...
the details are as follows
Interview 1 - This interview was basically DS based interview and certain concepts of networking were touched. I
told them that i am interested in data structures and cryptography so most of the questions came from those areas only.
Interview 2 - Was again technical. The interviewer asked me on Data Structures and a Dynamic Programming problem and some other puzzles to solve.
Interview 3 - This was technical but they evaluated the design skills. Asked me on ER diagrams, class diagrams and
database design and system design and some basic questions from OS. 
Interview 4 - This was also a technical interview mainly on problem solving and DS design (how would you design a DS to handle this situation and so on).

Round: HR Interview
Experience: There was no HR interview as such. They were asking questions in tech interviews such as tell me about yourself and so on.

General Tips: Data Structures, OOPS and OS. Solve a variety of problems. All the best!!!
