Interview preparation tips for other job seekers - On Aug 17,2019..I attended an interview for the post of Senior Production Engineer in SRF,Dahej,Gujarat.I am fortunate enough that I have got very similar process experience that what SRF is manufacturing.Being a professional chemical engineer for 7 years in Hindustan Fluorocarbons Ltd,I answered almost all the questions for what the interview panel had asked me.Infact I prepared for more Monomer plant questions but they confined to R22 plant only.Then later asked about my family background and raised concerns about my relocation to gujarat for the reason being that my wife works in Infosys,Hyderabad.My wife has the facility to work from home hence I assured them of my relocation to Gujarat if given the opportunity.But HR Divya Chauhan has put it ON HOLD for the same reason.Thanks for their wonderful hospitality and flight charges reimbursement.Definitely one day I will join in SRF and explore myself to the better challenges.

Round: Resume Shortlist
Experience: worst experience ever they don't have sense even the HR are not Sense how to speak with the person or the senior HR always trying to push you for low salary.
Tips: don't go for the interview they don't know the meaning of interview pure data entry company not have any other work they have.

General Tips: baseless question in the interview if you come for the web designing or even web developer job they ask you question about the same field but if they take you for the practical round you can see it's only data entry no sensible job offering,
Skill Tips: they don't have knowledge about website and they offer the web services shameful they want uneducated person who deal with them.

Experience: First time all components fault check. If fault then reworked. If again not on. Last condition software installed.
Tips: Reworked device with software Install.

Round: Test
Experience: First time self about write.solved easily questions with take time.
Tips: Rules and regulations followed by company.Be Sharp mind.
Duration: 1 hour
Total Questions: 40

Round: Behavioural Interview
Experience: I'm freely mind working with our team.My team is support.
Tips: You can follow with company rules then not create problems.

Skills: Positive Thinking

Round: Test
Experience: The Technical test had 20 questions and the aptitude test had 30 questions  with a time duration of 30 minutes each
Total Questions: 50

Round: HR Interview
Experience: Technical plus HR InterviewI believe 30% weight age goes to the projects. I had done a project on heat exchanger design and I had to answer a lot of questions about it.First they asked me about myself and my family background. After that they had questions about my training in IOCL Vadodara. Then they inquired about my favourite subjects to which I answered - RAC, Thermodynamics, Material science. After that, they had some elementary questions like iron carbon phase diagram, stress strain curve, first law, second law of thermodynamics, VCRC system. After this I was a given a situation regarding a pump compressor and was quizzed on the same. I answered all these questions correctly :D
Tips: During the training period you should prepare 2-3 subjects thoroughly so that you don’t have to face any problems during the interview.

General Tips: Do the best you can.Study the subjects and understand the concepts and hopefully you people can clear the interviews.
