Interview Preparation Tips

Round: Aptitude test
Experience: Test was conducted online and it contained objective questions (MCQs).

Aptitude consisted of 6 sections:

--Personality based (60 questions)

--Quants (10 questions)

--Verbal (10 questions) + Essay writing

--Analytical (15 questions)

--Technical (10 questions): It includes database, data structures, C++

--Coding (2 questions)


Round: Technical + HR Interview
Experience: Coding question was related to mathematics e.g. Mean, Median, Variance, etc.
Tips: Know your resume very well.

? During the first interview, most of the candidates were asked about DBMS. So be prepared for it.

? Keep your OOP concepts well placed.

? During HR, think before you speak, they can catch any word that you speak.

? Prepare well for aptitude, as they shortlist less people after the test.

? Ask good questions at the end of the interviews if they give you an opportunity. It might impress them. So prepare for it before going for the interview.

Experience: Verbal and non-verbal reasoning.

? Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning.

? C, C++, Java, Operating system, Data Structures, Microprocessor and Microcontroller and 2 simple programs (using C/C++/Java) of which one was to find the divisibility of a given number with another given number. Take care of the UI of the CoCubes while writing the programs, it is little weird and solve the programs first as they are easy as compared to the MCQ

Round: Test
Experience: A. Quantitative aptitude:
Very Easy Questions. If you know ratios and proportions, few formulas, probability etc. You can easily answer all the answers.
20 questions - 20 minutes.
B. Verbal Reasoning:
Basic questions based on knowledge of grammar. RC and other questions. Easy questions.
20 questions - 20 minutes.
C. Logical Reasoning:
Questions based on family tree, symbols (like if '+' operator is greater than or equal to) based questions. Easy to solve.
20 questions - 20 minutes.
Based on the aptitude test, 20 students from IT were shortlisted for the coding round.

Duration: 1 hour
Total Questions: 60

Round: Coding round
Experience: This round took place on the same day after the aptitude
Three programs:
Your code is tested against 15-20 test cases. Time limit was one hour.


Run length encoding: Given a string compress it using run length encoding

Experience: pen and paper test was conducted by the officials and 60min were given for the test
Duration: 1 hour
Total Questions: 45

Round: Technical + HR Interview
Experience: The procedure started with a Pre-Placement Talk. They introduced us to the company's history, range of products, business etc. They also mentioned about the job profiles & locations. All the job locations are out of Mumbai. Later there was an online aptitude test of about 1 hour. Later, they shortlisted 5 students of Production for the interview based on the test performance.

Round: Aptitude test
Experience: You wont find the aptitude hard if you were good with it all along. You dont need any special preparation for it. Diploma students may have to keep in touch with the things they missed out on (which I think is really unfair). The technical part was a breeze.


Round: Group Discussion
Experience: There were a total of 150+ candidates from 3 colleges. After the aptitude and technical test,around 40 were selected for the group discussion round. The topic I got was GST and how would it affect the nation. I had little idea of the topic but after listening to the other guys
speak I got to know that they knew less than me. Just stay confident and if possible make yourself the centre of the conversation like I did, kind of helps. After this, 20 of us were selected for a combined technical and hr interview. Most of the interview depends on your resume so make sure it is good and try not to lie in the resume.
Duration: 45 minutes

Round: HR Interview
Experience: normal questions were asked by the HR and it got over in 18mins
