Experience: Very versatile topic. Lots of points and examples to be said. Our team consisted of 13 people and the discussion was neat. Provide good examples not personal but general examples. Examples are very important.
Tips: Be up-to-date with recent topics and be clear with points. Don't confuse or don't be aggressive.
Duration: 15 min minutes

Round: HR Interview
Experience: I had an opportunity to impress the HR during the Pre-Placement Talk and I was lucky to be called in first for the interview. The HR remembered my face. There were 2 people (HR Team Head and India Innovation Center Director). HR was more concerned on personal experience and the Director was more focused on what results I had achieved in my projects. The Interview lasted for almost 35-40 mins and they made me so comfortable during the process.
Tips: Be cool and I feel its an advantage if you are the first to give your interview. Be interactive during the PPT because proverbs are written with experience ["First Impression is the Best Impression"]. Try to speak out and if you have to lie at some instance do it if its worth. And if you have low CGPA please don't show it in your resume. Interviewers tend to ask question only from your CV/resume. Don't give them a chance to point out a low point of yours. At the interview CG never matters. Have complete knowledge on your resume. Don't be confused, tensed or frustrated. Have a smile on the face and be humorous. Interviewers like good and interactive people. Try providing personal experience to justify everything you put on your resume.
First and most important do you background study over the company and be clear about the position you are appearing for.

Check out AmbitionBox to find out different tips. Its really worth.

General Tips: Stay cool and never get frustrated.
Wait for your time
Prepare well for aptitude, puzzles and core basics.
The rest is luck. "Ek din hota hai, Ek company hoti hai aur Ek tum ho" believe this phrase. If its your day, nothing will stop you and everything will fall in its path.

Round: Round 1
Experience: The first round was a face to face interview and involved 2 puzzles and 2 short case interviews .
Tips: For the puzzle, try to think out loudly to let the interviewer know what you are thinking and what your approach would be. For the cases, practice as many cases as you can beforehand so that you can be confident and quick at the crucial moment.

Experience: The second round was a telephonic interview which started with few HR questions and ended with a puzzle.
Tips: For the HR, try to be as confident as you can as it will sound more convincing and you'll stutter less in your speech, and always be true to yourself. Again if you reach to the wrong conclusion, the interviewer can still judge you for your approach.

5 Interview Rounds

Interview Preparation Tips

Round: Resume Shortlist
Experience: Everyone was called for the interview except 1 or 2 people in the batch. They have divided students into 2 groups as FEA and system modelling. Division was mainly on the project undertaken however we can switch if we want to give interview in the other field.
Tips: Focus on your project from the very starting and for sure selection you need to have a good command on FEA(if you opt for that).

Round: Technical Interview
Experience: My interview lasts for around 45 min. I have been selected for FEA profile. They have started with the project and some basic questions related to it. My project is deep in FEA and ABAQUS so it added an advantage. Then they moved on to vibration and strength of materials for the next half hr. I was not asked much ques in FEA as I have given decent explanation in my project so mine was completely the other two subjects.
Tips: Most of the interview will be dependent upon your project and your knowledge in FEA. If you are good in FEA then only they will check for the other subjects. Good command in FEA, ABAQUS will be an added advantage. Basics in Vibration and Strength of materials are the other subjects to have good understanding.

Round: HR Interview
Experience: It was a good experience. In FEA profile 3 people got shortlisted for HR round(out of 20 something) out of which 2 got selected.
It was basically a interaction session initally for about 15 min and then they have certain situations and we need to tell how we will react to those situations. It went for another 15 min. No basic HR ques were asked. It was a different but good experience.
Tips: Main thing is the technical interview. In this process they are basically checking if you are willing to shift to Bangalore and do you have any plans for Phd. Just be relaxed and say what actually you do in those situations. No need to learn anything, Just be yourself. Read something about the company like latest news and some new technology.

General Tips: Focus mainly on FEA and try to go for the basic questions. No formulae, no learning required.
Skill Tips: Focus mainly on FEA, ABAQUS will be an added advantage. Basics of Vibration and SOM are must.
Skills: Strength Of Materials, Vibration & Control, Finite Element Modeling FEM Software, Finite Element Modeling - FEM
College Name: IIT Kharagpur
Motivation: Big company. Couldnt ask for a better company to start. Reputation is certainly a Factor.

5 Interview Rounds

Interview Preparation Tips

Round: Resume Shortlist
Experience: 70 people shortlisted probably by cv and pre-assessment test results.

Round: Group Discussion
Experience: 70 shortlisted candidates were divided into 10 groups of 10. GD started, we sat in a circle around a table. All of us were handed a booklet and rough sheets. The interviewers told us that the booklet had three sections. Each section contained some data about a company followed by a question. We, as a group had to answer the three questions within one hour. He, himself suggested that we take twenty minutes per section - 5 mins to go through the data, fifteen to discuss and come to a conclusion. The first section gave us an idea about the company and asked some general questions about decreasing costs. Generic case study stuff. The next two sections were quant heavy. Required us to do a lot of calculations albeit simple. We divided the task among the group members. Ran out of time before solving the third question. Interviewer stepped in and helped us reach a conclusion. We were asked to leave the rough sheet behind. One of the longest and most civil Gds that I have attended. A wonderful experience.
Tips: Try to help move the discussion forward. Draw out your calculations and tables in the rough sheet. Let others speak, one hour is enough time for everyone to shine :).

Round: Case Study Interview
Experience: One interviewer. Small talks about the GD. A moderately long case followed by two short cases. The cases involved some quants. Nothing fancy. I did not follow any framework but he did not seem to mind. He helped me out any place that i got stuck. Asked me about why Dunnhumby. Nailed this answer. Did not ask a lot a questions from my cv, just about an internship i had done at a startup. Asked me whether i was comfortable with coding, told him i had not coded since my first year at college. That was it. Shaked hands and asked me to wait outside. HR came and told me i got the job.
Tips: Think out loud. Whatever you are thinking when looking at the tables or numbers, just speak them out loud for the interviewer so that he knows your thought process. Learn about the company a little bit before showing up for the interview. I was asked only cases, I heard others were asked guesstimates as well.

General Tips: Case in Point is more than enough as far as preparation is concerned. A good CV and CGPA helps. Don't worry, I myself lacked both :P
Skills: Ability To Work In A Team, Case Solving Ability, Quant+Math

Round: Resume Shortlist
Experience: They shortlisted about 30 people from around 700 applications on the basis of CGPA, Internships, Projects. PORs and Extra Curricular Activities weren't much important to them.
Tips: Keep a safe CGPA above 8.

Round: Technical Interview
Experience: Mostly they grilled me on my Projects and internships. A strategy based warehouse case study was to be solved. Since I was from Industrial Engineering background they asked me on a scheduling problem. And lastly a few puzzles and they kept on increasing the intensity at each question. Later on, he asked me why not go for a MS or PhD and a situation where you have put mind over matter.
Tips: Most of the interviewers were very cool and friendly. DO NOT PANIC.

Round: Behavioural Interview
Experience: They were simple life oriented questions. He asked me about my previous projects and BTP. Tell me about a situation you failed and why? Tell me a situation where you leaded a project? What experience do you have in industry? Why an e-commerce?
Tips: Confidence is the key.

Round: HR Interview
Experience: Regular HR questions. Again a puzzle. Tell me about a situation where the project was going downhill but you took that to another level from that. They told me about the working hours and asked me for a location preference.
