New Job, Higher Pay, Now I’m Feeling Awkward

I’ve been at my new job for about six months now, and everything’s been going great! I’m getting positive feedback from my manager, and I get along well with the team. The thing is, when I started, my salary offer ended up being much higher than the initial number discussed during my interview. I didn’t negotiate and just accepted the offer. So, fast forward to happy hour with the team, and the topic of salary comes up. I, unfortunately, shared what I’m making, and let’s just say... it didn’t sit well with the others who have been on the team for years and make less than me. They weren’t mad at me, but now I’m feeling a bit uncomfortable and unsure how to handle this situation. Has anyone had something like this happen? How did you deal with it? Let’s chat!

- Micro Management at peak level - Partiality towards employees -Over work -No Appreciation -No work life balance -No Overtime Pay - Rejection of sick leave - Force to come at work on holiday - Toxic work Culture - Involvement of Head office regarding leaves and Manager is just a singing authority. -No Support from manager or Reporting manager -No Increment - Even if Appraisal happens not more than 8-10%

They offer you low salary with no increment and require you to work on Saturday and sunday,If you need to take leave, you must seek permission from general manager in Saudi Arabia, and he doesn’t approve your application , your salary get deducted

Its 5 days week and holidays and leavs also satisfactory.

No apprisal for past 2 yrs.No annual apprisal system exist actually.Running on saudi arebian culture.In saudi people are hired on contract basis so salary revision fixed there but here they hav new set up last 3yrs and still no provision of annual apprisal.There are no employe welfare activities.Not a single festival is celebrated.No human values and they dont ask for commitment as well.
