Just it's a total remote job.

Salary does not come on time for the employees working in India. There is no HR portal. Managers, tech leads don't have enough knowledge how to take work from developers as they are not clear about requirements People join and leave with in three months due to pathetic work process. And there are no benefits. It's a start up .

Nothing. Avoid this company at all cost. Any skilled person with self respect will not work in this company.

...e in weeks without giving any valid reason to cover up for their financial mess. Salary are delayed by approx 3 to 4 weeks. The crazy part is - the salaries are given based on priority. In the first month, I got my salary on the last day of the month whereas for the same month - the India employees got salaries after 2 weeks. 2. They extract free work by giving assignment to the interviewing candidate under the pretext of technical evaluation. I have seen the actual task that the team is working on is handed over as assignment. 3. The director of AI is an egoistic and sick person. He is technically incapable and to safeguard his position resorts to threats and toxic behaviour. The director of AI feels challenged from any skills data scientist and will find ways to fire him. He himself have like 5 months of professional job experience and dont know how - this company has made him director of ai. He is only comfortable in working with freshers as they feel threatened by him and the can feel in control and satisfy his ego. 4. The director of ai - does not know much about tech stack. For example, he told me to run code in jupyter notebook cell by cell instead of giving him modular code in python scripts. He did not understand that training transformer model needs GPUs and expected to train a transformer model on 1 - 16GB GPU. He does not use git or any version control and copies files all day long from one system to another. 5. The data pipeline is a mess. They save data like a college kid saving files on his laptop. They save raw and annotated data in the same place and the trained models are saved in the same location. Total mess. The old code are mess with random variables, no comments. The director of ai expects the random old code to work because he was fooled by ex employees into believing that the code works and he has memorised the codes. So, he will now want people to make this code work without any change. 6. The director of ai has memorised code from old employees. So, he thinks that there is only one code to solve the problem. The irony is - if you give him a better modular code, he will not be able to comprehend. 7. Director of AI is a will call each 1 on 1 person like 6 times a day under random pretext. He is so insecure that he will not allow 2 team members to communicate. 8. The middle management is papered by the CTO and the employees are blamed for the company's bad decisions. The middle management of this company is showing off that they are contributing by conducting random meetings. 9. They have constant lay off and they fire senior data scientist and data scientist within weeks of joining just because the director of ai felt insecure. 10. The HR department of this company is random, unreachable. They had shared 5 copies of offer letter to me, because each version of the letter had a typo. One you are fired or laid off from the company, they will try to make excuses to not pay the full amount of your FNF. 11. Check their Job Postings, they post for the same position every 2 months. The reason is they hire make people solve their problems and then fire them. They then hire new set of people and then repeat the same storey. 12. The India employees use to work from 8:15 AM till well past midnight. If you work in this company from more than 3 months - slavery and negative self esteem would become your inherent traits. So, stay away from this company.

...st incompetent and he will be the sole reason why you will leave the company. 3. The salary is dispatched 2-3 weeks for every month 4. I was made to work on weekends without acknowledgment, work-life balance is joke. 5. The director of AI is not a good person, he will check on you on the weekend, will call you 3-4 times, and complain about why it is not done yet. 6. Micromanagement and irrelevant calls and your work hours will be wasted in these meetings and you will be questioned and have to work late at night to fill the thirst of the director of ai 7. Very very imbalanced work life. 8. Management won't listen to you, eventually you will have to wait for another 6 weeks for FNF if you do the resignation. 9. You wont survive for 3-4 months unless you are into HR.

- Current CEO promoted from Chief AI officer lacks necessary leadership qualities for the role. He exhibits classic signs of poor management: insecurity, micromanagement and disorganization, - He demands the same project status updates multiple times a week and yet claims ignorance of project status as he does not listen during the meeting or read the status updates. - He always come late to meeting or do not attend at all but will never inform the team members about the same. He will just keep them waiting and waste everyone's time. - There is no clear business strategy or direction. - Politics dominates the workplace. The CEO and Group HR engages in manipulative office politics making life miserable for employees instead of fostering collaboration and growth. - Overall, the culture is filled with incompetence, poor leadership and toxic behavior making it unpleasant place to work.
