... 2. Service rules. 3. Systematic way of working. (Following of LEAP process). 4. Salary on time etc.
1.Leaders are self oriented (Selfish in nature). 2. Not walk on the talk. 3. Instead of providing a good leadership in terms of Networking (State and National level), program planing, Implementation, Staffs wellbeing or organisational development, they focus how they can save their own position within the organisation.
I'm working in a WORLD VISION INDIA as TBC and love the ethics and friendly work environment.
I like how WORLD VISION INDIA with their ongoing project UNITE TO ACT along with REACH and NTEP working with MoHFW-GOI to end Tuberculosis by 2025.
As a TBC, I found some issues related with late payment but later it worth. Salary is decent and carrier growth is slow. There is a bond of 15 months before which we can not resign.
Being international NGO very good for experience. Policies keep changing.good salary. Many capacity development trainings. Nowadays no job security. Had pleasure to work with.
Policies keep changing. Little regional politics is there. Quickly accept resignation.

I worked there for 8 years. You will get your salary in time that is for sure. If your manager is evil then your career in world vision will be like nightmare.
...igher than the program. Govt of India told World vision to reduce admin cost.
Their main admin cost is salary. You can not imagine the staff salary. Our prime minister salary is lesa than their National Director's salary.
Programs and meetings in luxury hotels. People donate money for poor people but they spend money on salary and luxury programs.
They dont have proper planning to spend money. Lots of fund came to World vision for developement of poor childrens and community. But at the end of financial year when they fail to complete program they just lavishly waste money intentinally conducting programs in luxury 4 star 5 stars hotels. Staff care management is very poor. Managers are harrasing staff in the name of yearly assessment. If you will not do what they want. They will give need improvement in your rating. All staffs are christians. Their main mission and vision is to spread the Gospel of Jesus christ in the name of developement and helping poor. In the name of community developement they are just wasting money and just give one bag, pen pencil etc in a year.
I was in jaipur you can visit the slum area naharika naka. Shastri nagar. World vision is spending crores of rupees. But it is just in bills and papers. Beware if you plan to join your carrer will be spoiled.
