Wipro the company for the best employees and it is good for the engineer according to my criteria . The company is very good in the satisfaction and the all service provided are very good and predictable .

Dislikes

The only thing that was believed to be a weak link was Wipro's salary structure. Many employee's including me were upset when the freshers who joined the company get the same or more salary than people with 1-2 yr experience. Hike in salary was always a miracle. We used to be eagerly waiting for it but it rarely happened. This would clearly tell you about our frustration.

No support for new employees, hire to put people on bench, no senior supports team members, lot of politics, senior people enjoying big salary and putting new people in PIP and without project to get terminated....never join this company

...ply terminate you without listening and understanding your concerns or requests. Recently there is a LOP (loss-of-pay) policy which treats employees very bad and even though there is lack of projects for lower band people, HR will not listen your request and simply ignore us. There is nothing like career growth at Wipro. Not at all recommended for freshers especially who aspire to grow more and wants to get good hike and package.

Nothing, worked 7 years under a manager with no promotion no growth no salary hike , even though generated so much revenue for account with handling 15 member team for 4 years.. finally they say good bye..better know when to quit, hard work intelligence doesn't matter always

It's a toxic work culture where people are promoted based on their region , language, my north indian manager promoted couple of guys from his hometown and even got them H1B , I140 approval , while the hardworking and talented individuals from south continue to keep working and are rarely considered...keep pushing your manager for something after so many years in the account, all you will get is a rotation policy based release from account...learn how to hold a bucket else you will get lost in this vast and corrupt corporate world..

Working in Wipro is best like other IT company, you will get all support for learning more and becoming core.

Dislikes

In salary wise its depend on your performance and skills in project but then also will not get that much hike or increament.
