Growth and Compensation is very low if you stay back for longer duration. It's the same in other organisations too. But here it is bit more.

Wipro technologies has wide range of technologies in which it has projects.Proper work ethics and a normal culture that you expect in any MNC is present here.

... all projects are working in shifts and 99% of projects are rotational shifts. Compensation is average as compared to the industry. I feel the work culture in the Chennai location is lagging as compared to other Development centres.

Monthly medical budget for employees and access to learning portal for up skilling.

Dislikes

Project allocation is bad due to scarcity of projects. Moreover salary hikes and promotion is also bad there. I worked almost for 3 years there, also got awarded quite some time for my good performance, but didn't received any promotion or good salary hike in the form of compensation.

Worklife balance is better in Wipro not like other service line companies

Salary revisions, how hard you work doesn’t matter if you join from a low payed organization you will never match with industrial staandards. I am working for the 4th year now as per industrial standards the wage is way more than double of what I am getting.(Though I am a critical resource for the project). Requested multiple time for a salary standardisation nothing works do switch that is the only option .

Learning is good in wipro. They conducting various sessions, induction kind of classes to upskill ourselves. Helping to write costly exams by providing vouchers.

Salary was same as other IT services companies. And salary growth rate was decent when compared to other service companies.
