...nd upskill themselves to become test engineer and then to development engineers. But it is recommended to change the company after approx 2 or 3 years and there will be no salary hike.

Compensation is horrible, hardly there is any salary hike. I get the same salary as that of the salary 3 years ago. At times there was only 2% annual hike and some employees got 0% annual hike.

Overall work life balance is decent. Learning programs are good.

Dislikes

Worst thing about Wipro is LOP(Loss of Pay) when you are on bench, it is difficult to get another project. After sometime on bench they stop your pay. They should understand we don't like to sit idle either. Not good for freshers if they want to learn and grow in IT career. Promotions are slow. Final verdict is they exploit and destroy the career of beginners

Job security - Good

Dislikes

Projects are support based. Candidates are given projects based on the tier of engineering college they are from. Too much politics, depends on your projects. You need to have a "setting" with manager to get something good and slight better environment.
