Wipro is a good company to start your career with and have a brand name on your resume as this is going to be your first work experience in corporate world which matters somewhat more when you want to move out and switch to a different organization.

No work life balance, poor salary and less to no opportunity to grow and learn something new.

Job security seems the only factor, nothing else. Get the best while joining the company and later on yearly you won't get anything.

Worst in terms of increment and variable pay policy. You will be paid after 2 months once a quater ends for your variable pay so you will get your 3 months variable pay in 5 months.

Nothing to like. Salary on time.

No support for new employees, hire to put people on bench, no senior supports team members, lot of politics, senior people enjoying big salary and putting new people in PIP and without project to get terminated....never join this company

...ply terminate you without listening and understanding your concerns or requests. Recently there is a LOP (loss-of-pay) policy which treats employees very bad and even though there is lack of projects for lower band people, HR will not listen your request and simply ignore us. There is nothing like career growth at Wipro. Not at all recommended for freshers especially who aspire to grow more and wants to get good hike and package.

Nothing, worked 7 years under a manager with no promotion no growth no salary hike , even though generated so much revenue for account with handling 15 member team for 4 years.. finally they say good bye..better know when to quit, hard work intelligence doesn't matter always

It's a toxic work culture where people are promoted based on their region , language, my north indian manager promoted couple of guys from his hometown and even got them H1B , I140 approval , while the hardworking and talented individuals from south continue to keep working and are rarely considered...keep pushing your manager for something after so many years in the account, all you will get is a rotation policy based release from account...learn how to hold a bucket else you will get lost in this vast and corrupt corporate world..
