Salary is below standard even for new joinees ( Bargain well with "HR" ) Doing same type of work for any other MNC, offers much higher package, atleast as per the MNC Standard. If you don't have issues working hard with below satisfactory Salary then this is the place.

The company is open to innovation and really adopts latest technology. I have learnt so many things from Wipro..

Dislikes

Compensation is decent ,but growth is slow. The work pressure is very high.. sometimes I had to work 12-13 hours a day.. I do receive appreciation emails from my clients but always it remained unrecognised during my mid-apraisal period.Also Wipro is lacking in on job training. There should be some exact time period for project. I resigned Wipro inNovrmber 2017 still I haven’t received my experience letter..

...ply terminate you without listening and understanding your concerns or requests. Recently there is a LOP (loss-of-pay) policy which treats employees very bad and even though there is lack of projects for lower band people, HR will not listen your request and simply ignore us. There is nothing like career growth at Wipro. Not at all recommended for freshers especially who aspire to grow more and wants to get good hike and package.

As a basic entry level its good for getting experienced and learning more about corporate.

The only dislike I have is salary issue, Wipro is paid very less when compared to other companies who are aligned for the same job role.

Nothing, worked 7 years under a manager with no promotion no growth no salary hike , even though generated so much revenue for account with handling 15 member team for 4 years.. finally they say good bye..better know when to quit, hard work intelligence doesn't matter always

It's a toxic work culture where people are promoted based on their region , language, my north indian manager promoted couple of guys from his hometown and even got them H1B , I140 approval , while the hardworking and talented individuals from south continue to keep working and are rarely considered...keep pushing your manager for something after so many years in the account, all you will get is a rotation policy based release from account...learn how to hold a bucket else you will get lost in this vast and corrupt corporate world..
