I haven't been to other companies till now so I don't have anything to compare. I think so as Wipro other service based companies also offers some basic perks. Here the work environment is good. Luckily, I was chosen for a project which is having cutting edge technology and worked in development and testing both. Seniors will guide you how to do a complex task having tight deadline. Other than that company don't offer anything extra so that I can put Wipro out of the race of its competitors.

Dislikes

No work life balance. Annual salary hike is very low (Almost negligible). No mental peace. If your luck is not good you will be getting projects having older technologies and there will be no learning and pressure to switch company.

Nothing to like. Salary on time.

No support for new employees, hire to put people on bench, no senior supports team members, lot of politics, senior people enjoying big salary and putting new people in PIP and without project to get terminated....never join this company

...ply terminate you without listening and understanding your concerns or requests. Recently there is a LOP (loss-of-pay) policy which treats employees very bad and even though there is lack of projects for lower band people, HR will not listen your request and simply ignore us. There is nothing like career growth at Wipro. Not at all recommended for freshers especially who aspire to grow more and wants to get good hike and package.

As a basic entry level its good for getting experienced and learning more about corporate.

The only dislike I have is salary issue, Wipro is paid very less when compared to other companies who are aligned for the same job role.

Nothing, worked 7 years under a manager with no promotion no growth no salary hike , even though generated so much revenue for account with handling 15 member team for 4 years.. finally they say good bye..better know when to quit, hard work intelligence doesn't matter always

It's a toxic work culture where people are promoted based on their region , language, my north indian manager promoted couple of guys from his hometown and even got them H1B , I140 approval , while the hardworking and talented individuals from south continue to keep working and are rarely considered...keep pushing your manager for something after so many years in the account, all you will get is a rotation policy based release from account...learn how to hold a bucket else you will get lost in this vast and corrupt corporate world..
