Whitehat Jr used to be a great company to work with before byjus's acquisition. I have seen people getting promotions completely based on their skills and performance (Meritocracy), but eventually, everything came to a halt after the acquisition.

Dislikes

...owadays. But whitehat jr was extreme in laying off the employees out of nowhere. And the worst part is that the layoffs were based on their salary range, not on their performance. Many good performers lost their job at a time when jobs in the market are in scarcity. Try to understand the point here, they were moved into different departments then they were judged based on their salary range and then laid off. And because of this strategy, many lost their jobs. PS: If you are thinking of joining whitehat jr now, then take my suggestion and don't join. Look for a better opportunity. Now there's nothing left in the company.

I love whitehat jr. Teachers are given excellent support in all form. Whitehat jr is the best company which provides fair salary to the teachers. They do support us with webinar's on managing stress, money and they do support us with language training. Teachers can work from home on their comfortable time. Team is absolutely humble and polite.

Dislikes

As I said before I love whitehat jr. If you do your job, you will be safe. We(whitehat) miss only one thing, providing teachers with permanent salary and increment. I hope soon this will be implemented.

Before 1 year it was all good but after the Karab Bajaj CEO left, lots of things got changed and those changes are terrible.

Dislikes

No promotion to mentors who are working more than 2 to 3 years, no hike in salary, instead of giving hike they have reduced our 50% salary, no paid leaves, no government national holidays. Lots of policies you cannot have a normal life if you are working here, lots of stress. You will not have job security, if you are a mentor then at any time without any proper reason they can terminate you.

Permanent work from home. Ideal for people who do not have the option to go out and work.

Dislikes

The company is abusive when it comes to salary cuts. It takes away 2 months of salary in one go in the name of penalty for the tiniest of things.

It was a good company but after byjus took over nothing is good here.

Dislikes

No bonus, no salary increment it actually got cut by 50%, no job security, and terrible customer and employee treatment, making us instructors do sales work which is terrible and not our JOB!! No growth at all.
