Job security was not a concern with Whirlpool until March where layoffs were announced globally; salary was on the lower side but pressure wasn't unmanageable until 6 months ago when management changes happened

Dislikes

Culture is a hit or a miss depending on the manager in charge; micromanagement is the name of the game; no succession plan for new hires; appraisal is subpar by industry standards; lack of support from corporate HR in any concerns raised; even one day leaves get rejected at the whims and fancy of the manager in charge

Dislikes

Whirlpool unlike the brand name is not a good place to work at. The company culture in sales doesn't allow work life balance and do not even pay as promised. Completed an year here and already looking for a switch

...toxic. Juniors ( ASM,AM,SE...etc) will face all kind of torture in this company. Bonus deducted as well. Unnecessary pressure in work. No job security, manipulation and politics involved. Overall pathetic Job scenario in Whirlpool 👎👎

Good work environment and culture. Teammates are supprtive and the management is transprant. There is a huge cafeteria and gaming arcade for chilling.

Dislikes

There is a lot of politics and the management doesn't address our issue. Salary is decent but growth is fast.

Whirlpool is a well recommended company to work for, work life balance is excellent.

Dislikes

Company should look more into the compensation factor as it’s competition companies have done which is making the toxic environment for whirlpool employee when he compares his salary.
