Likes

Top Management is good and ethical. Working environment is so so. Co-workers are mostly good but some are very disturbing and poisonous. Company provide breakfast and lunch. Overall, company is good.

...tant positions for which, some things are not open or clear to the Management. Salary structure is good to start. But growth and hike is very slow. On job training not given to new joiners.

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?
