Salary hike is not good from past one year. When compared to other companies they are giving less salary for 3 years experience people. In other companies 1 year experience people are getting equivalent salary to 3 year experienced employees in VCTI

1) There is no job security because of lack of projects. They have few clients only. 2) Mostly you will be working at client place only. 3) No onsite opportunities.

...s there are no big teams and everybody gets to perform their individual tasks. Its a place for quick learners,not for people who just want salary without doing any work. 4.Team outings,evening snacks,birthday celebrations and some festivals are also celebrated here to break the monotony. 5.Your job is always in your hand,its secure if you are true to your work. No one can expell you if you are a good resource. 6.company culture here is very good,people at higher level understand your personal commitments and no one interferes in your personal life. No one talks in foul language. If your team is good,you will enjoy working in velankani. 7.free transport is the major plus pt which most of the companies dont provide these days. Like every company has some bad points,velankani too has some negative pts:- Cons-1.working in small team becomes challenging sometimes if you dont have a Team architect or lead. 2.salary comes on 5th of every month. 3.Work from home option is not open to every employee,it is allowed on need basis and depends on criticality of assignments.

Lack of laptops and WFH is not open for all.

Salary hike is less for Support Team compare to Billable team. New Technology implementation is supported by Management.

Pros: Everything depends on client since its a service based. You get decent hikes if you're good. Cons: -more office politics hence losing good resources -though they hire talented freshers' they get dumb because of being in bench advice to Management : -Velankani must improve on their sales and grab new projects -cutting down VPP or holding increment of onsite allowance will not retain existing employees Note: if velankani has survived despite of its competitors, its only due to its employee friendly nature. Please try to retain same, do less politics.

Dislikes

hypocrisy alias politics at all management levels. eg: A hypocrite employee try to grow in office by defaming hard-working employees. A hypocrite does minimal technical & hardwork, he tries to be friendly to all employees and gather info. In background he escalates to management regarding small issues by make it big & very big. Since all escalation comes to HR department, HR team must gauge on the escalating person. HR team must take time and understand the person who often keep escalating either directly or in directly.
