Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

Dislikes

Unable to grow beyond the shackles of 'Family owned enterprise league'. No HR involvement and policies in place to design an optimal career growth plan for employees.

There is lots of things to learn related with machining and materials.

About the companies superiors,some of the superiors are so humble and positive attitude, but some of the superiors are extremely bad, even they don't have manners how to speak others, no any appreciation of work by their own department superior, even that MD of the company is not able to distinguish about what is correct and what is wrong
