lot of scope to grow but depends on specific teams

Dislikes

compensation needs to be relooked at. only if you are leaving ,management will decide to give you compensation at par with industry.but we have a bi annual appraisal which is good

Work Life Balance was good. Compensation was good. The provide free food to employees, probably a selling point for bachelors trying to save money.

Dislikes

Work culture isn't great. Yes Sir culture prevails. No perks, bad health benefits. Work is mostly on dated technologies. Very little to no scope to learn.

Recently they have started Variable pay component in salary which is not good. Variable pay they offered is 1 Lakh but hardly we don't get atleast half of the amount....Only drawback I found 🙃

1. Company politics 2. Management take steps back from employees when they need their support and management have terrible discussion making. They make you agree to work on unassigned project and if something happens they back off and will say it’s all employees fault. 3. There is no up-skill courses

The team and managers are pretty encouraging and very welcoming to the newly joined employees. My manager in particular encouraged me and supported me in anything and everything I did.

Dislikes

...gies and it's difficult to switch to other projects that use newer technologies. And there isn't much increase in pay for some employees.

Hi, I'm here to share a part of my journey from the past 12 years in my career, I started from a package of 3.6LPA in 2013 at iGate and due to a few bad decisions on my career and worthless advices from people who are always pessimistic about the industry, I switched two companies and landed in a start-up with 2.4LPA. I worked hard nearly 8-16hrs a day single handed researched, built and managed an entire vertical of a project for 8 years. When the company didn't value my contribution and thought I was too young to become a manager, I had a package of 6LPA and Senior developer in designation. I switched for obvious reasons to a TL role for 12LPA and now at the same company I'm a TPM on the basis of my contribution with 48LPA as a fixed component. I feel outclassed in terms of having a fancy CV with certifications, I feel like CTC has hit a peak with 48LPA being fixed and nearly 40% in Variable. Most companies are hesitant to hire me because of this. What should be my next move?
