I love to work in UHG....appraisals and hike, bonus are very good, it's like fun at work, supportive management and good working environment , I worked both Hyderabad OPTUM and Bangalore XLhealth locations.

...yst they treated the academy people so badly incomparsion of market correction..as i stepped into 24 salary grade they inclued the market correction hike in CTC..and the mangement was so bad on putting their words into reality...

I hate market correction based on basic salary

Operations teammates are good. Training is good. No job security and career growth in operations team. Learning is good. Entire process is good except managers. They will torture you like anything until you became a favorite for them.

Dislikes

Compensarion/salary hike is less and it depends on manager discretion, not on employee performance. Operations management will force you people to work on every Saturdays and Sundays for that they will call it as business requirement. They will not allow you to take your entitled leaves. For one day sick leave also they will ask you to submit medical certificate. Managers do not value individual strength and performance. They don't like questioning and straight forward people. They will like people who are supporting them, spying and who will play politics. People who are very close to managers will get promoted and more salary hike than others.

UHG is the excellent growing company.l learn a lot of things from this company and adopts latest technology .working place and environment, team supporting superb.

Dislikes

compensation is decent,but growth is slow.salary deduction is very high.

The company provides excellent learning opportunities, have lots of courses and scope of learning. You will get to work with multiple teams and get more insights.

The salary increments are not very great and sometimes even biased too.
