Salary on time. Good infrastructure.

Dislikes

Layoff policy. Company don't care about employees. They just hire during the season of business and once business done they layoff entire staff for next 06 months. Also they try to keep employees on third party rolls so that during layoffs that should not be in their count. Poorest culture in unacademy among all Ed-tech companies.

Poor work life balance, culture has gone to worse.. No clear path which the company wants to take, lack of clear thought process. Job security is a myth here - even the founder's word doesn't matter in this case.

Initially it was good being work from home, but suddenly they told us to join from office.

Dislikes

...read all reviews online, check with existing employees and then take a decision. Company plays with employee career and most importantly always make late salary payments, HR/ Management don't even bother to listen to us Everyone is aggressive towards just one thing, to increase REVENUE but people who are actually working for it day and nigtt even on weekends, sacrificing life, family they are ignored, and what we get is lay off, late payments, no hike, no benefits, no appreciations.

The culture at Unacademy is probably one of the worst I've come across in 10 years of my experience. Lack of clarity at the CxO level, random projects undertaken in a whim. Not considerate towards emoployees

I am in a Contractual job position. Salary is okay.

Dislikes

Everything. They took me in the name of giving a permanent job after 6 months. However, they did this to everyone but I don't think they will give such things apart from extending your contract. When we got the contract in hand they told that there will be no benefits for the contractual employees and you can be terminated anytime with 15 days of notice period. I was left with no choice as I left my Previous job in the name of Unacademy. In reality it's just a hectic work. Even if you demand your own casual leave they will force you to not take it or try to convert that leave into your usual week-off. A week-off of 1 day is given to every employee with 6 days of working. And that is also not fixed. A roaster comes every week. Somehow I was able to get my leave everytime but what's the point of casual leave then. Managers are too rude. They point out you every single mistake and disturbs you for no such big reasons everytime. Overall, this is not something I want. Working hours were told to us from 10 to 6. Then it was 9 to 7. Then it was 9 to 9 at the start of my job. However, around 6 we almost complete our work.
