Unacademy’s Unethical Salary Practices – Beware Before Joining I had a highly disappointing experience with Unacademy. Despite fulfilling all my job responsibilities professionally, the company failed to pay my full salary as per the agreed terms. When I reached out to HR, they either ignored my messages or gave vague excuses, showing a complete lack of professionalism and accountability. A company that does not respect its employees' hard work and financial rights cannot be trusted. If you are considering working here, be prepared for payment delays and unresponsive HR. There are far better organizations that value integrity, fairness, and transparency.

Only good about incentives structures & salary part.

Only if you are your managers known specially from byju’s or from some other company then you will get all privileges like getting access to your managers nimbus account, getting high intent leads, Leaves , favours to save you from any PIP & or escalations and rapid layoff’s that to not based upon perform ( only chamchas will stay) .Unacademy is becoming next byju’s will not recommend anyone to join at this point of time.

The salary, the work culture and learnings were great. Also, great leaders like Roman Saini, Jagnoor Singh, Vivek Sinha, Gaurav Munjal.

Dislikes

Recruitment of the upper management hasn't been good. Need to hire more capable hands who can be the leader and drive their teams.

They fired many of us..didn't have clear vision. Hired a bunch of nincompoops who have already proved their proficiency by getting 2 startups closed earlier.

They are the Pay masters. Very aggressive approach. Founders are involved. Startup’s should learn from them. Really aggressive.

Dislikes

No strategy. Always on pilot mode. Highly top to bottom driven company. CEO needs good people to build the company and should be ‘humane’ in approach. Insulting people for your pleasure makes you a small human being.
