The work life balance is amazing. You are never asked to work beyond the usual 9hrs shift. The holidays are not cancelled much, although this varies from group to group, depends much on the manager and work load. There is a sense of freedom in their work culture which is amazing. They have brilliant heath insurance set up for employees.

Dislikes

Salary structure is such that you are somewhat underpaid. Some policies are not very employee friendly. There is less emotional connect. Some project are high revenue generating but working on those does not add up to your resume

Likes

You get salary on time. You also get central pick up and home drop. Good cafeteria and employee entertainment zone. Flexible timings. Diwali gifts. Monthly recognition prizes.

Dislikes

Management wants you to do apple polishing. If you don't do that then no matter how skilled you are, you will get targeted, pin pointed, no rewards and recognition of your work, they even lie many times to demean you. And once you open your mouth in your defense, you are finished. You won't get any opportunity, your appraisal will be bad. There are people in ugam who have more than 10 years of experience but are not able to grow in career. On other hand, those who are favorite of their management go very high in career in short time. And later these guys spread rumours like those who don't work hard are left behind. You cannot raise complaint against their favorite people.

Likes

Flexible working hours with unlimited leaves. Highly knowledgeable folks with higher work experience.

Dislikes

Slow growth in career in terms of work as well as salary. Lesser/ minimal communication across different functional teams. Senior management comprises of very few younger folks Promotions are mainly based on experience by years, rather than work quality and improvements.

The good thing that i have seen is higher feeling of job security.

...ple and except these 17 to stretch and work over weekends to complete the work.. They would pay you less that ur daily salary in the name of SPA.

Ugam is best place to start your career . Good international client exposure, Good culture , flexiblity, good managers and folks

Salary is less than market standards foe experienced, learning gets stucked after a period
