Likes

A great technology, core into machine tool and a mechanical engineering company. A monopoly organization.

Dislikes

No strategies, daily changing decisions, no empathy. Quantity oriented than quality & sustainability. Good market share with equal % of customer complaints. No improvement culture, or a quality assurance approach. Its a difficult company for one who is skilled and experienced. Poor professionalism and hard to digest the words used.

Exposure to modern manufacturing techniques. Lean six Sigma application. Training activities conducted in scheduled manner. Highly experienced and approachable MD Sir.

Planning and scheduling is hectic non streamlined. Inventory management is also a work in progress.

If u can dedicate urself, u can grow faster than ur seniors too! Ucam recognise true potential of a person especially in design department. The design is run by a great manager Mr.Manoj. As long as he is there, UCAM is a good place to work as design engineer
