...ity. Right now all the three major features mentioned above are deteriorating. Salary and other benefits never been salient feature of Tide Water but work satisfaction was always there

Never been a very highly ambitious company in terms of skill development, R&D focus, personal Growth.

I am a part of a team that markets reliable, high-quality products .

Dislikes

Compensation is decent,but growth is slow . The work pressure is very high. Sometimes, I have to work 7- 10 hours straight in a day as I have to attend the client calls in the evening and sometimes late into the night.

Likes

You can learn very limited skills, no guidance or no mentors given for your development. Job Security is high but no more new things to learn after a while.

Promotion way is very slower. No self growing after certain years of job.

My company is helping in this pandemic situation where world is facing. Other company is doing cutoff of salaries and all but my company is giving full salaries and also other allowances. So thanks a lot to the management team.

Job is more or less secure in Tide Water, work culture is good, Management is good company policies are profit driven.

Very poor career growth,Nepotism, it's better to work for 2-3 yr in this and take changes and you may again join so there is possibility that you become boss of your seniors, Instead promotion you will have redesignations for ex Asstt Manger Sales and Marketing Automotive and after 5 yr you may be Asst Manager Industrial or Institutional or OEM or Production or Logistics ,I spent 21 yr with the same designation rolling like this but best part you will get your salery and increment in time and better understanding , Bosses are egoist and older there is no transfer policy for Bosses . Some new change catalyst has come so situation may change but I lost my career path with 21 yr of working with Tide Water oil, being Bengali or Marathi may get favour
