Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

Overall a nice company, with good work culture. Growing revenues, good profitable organisation. Work life balance is very good.

Dislikes

Salary is below market standard. Poor increment. Most importantly it is no more a part of Thyssenkrupp Germany. Since indian stackhilders has acquired the entire stack. Hence it is become an Indian MNC.

Depending upon manager the facilities and amenities are available to your site.

Dislikes

... care for any kind of indeed. Even if you complain no one is there to listen. Salary distribution is not proper, e.g. if you have salary of 6 LPA and your new junior will get 7 LPA. Irrespective of experience and qualities, also relation are matter.

Dislikes

FTC & Parment employ policy employ treatment is poor. In FTC job security is very less. promotions and appraisal for FTC is very terrible.

Likes about it’s job security. Never heard of any news on layoff in my 9 years of working with Thyssenkrupp

Dislikes

...plain mode for getting leaves. Lastly pays average compared to market standards. One more pathetic rule is they will deduct salary for latecommings to office even for 5 minutes
