The work culture is not good in PPD - Bangalore office. Office has malicious politics. Good employees who are work-oriented cannot sustain in the PPD. They will be sacked or harassed by the Senior Leadership Team until they are resign by themselves. PPD is not employee oriented company, it is an autocratic organization in which few leaders lead the local and global company. PPD does not value Open Communication, Transparency. There is no open door policy as well. Clinical Data Management CDM department is divided in Global and EDS. If you are in Global CDM, you can sustain in PPD for a longer duration, if you are in EDS CDM, then your job security is at stake. EDS Team is a disorganized team in the PPD with new Sr.Manager, who is worst in interpersonal skills and with no technical skills and Senior Leadership Team. Employees are not valued and Sr.Manager is culturally biased to the core. Sr. Manage's principle is favoritism and politics, defaming the employees in front of Senior Leadership Team. He will play dire politics with you and make you guilty for the things which you've never committed. Because of this Sr.Manager many employees left from the team, even old and senior employees with managers left because of one Sr.Manager. The worst part of the EDS, Senior Leadership supports the worst Sr.Manager. If you escalate to HR, it is none of use. HR team is helpless because they act according to the Senior Leadership Team. EDS is highly unstable department in PPD, there were ramp down in EDS SAS team and entire team was abruptly washed away from the floor. EDS CDM is left out with handful of employees. Most of the work is done by Latin America and US. US team and Latin America, Sr Manager (worst manager) are dominant on the EDS. If you are looking for money and dire politics then this job is for you, however if you're looking for stable company with long term prospects then definitely a BIG NO. Re-Think before you join PPD.

*Work culture and supportive management. *Open door policy and empathatic management who supports you beyond work during the time of crisis or mishaps. *Leave policy is good. PPD provides good number of leaves. *Flexibility in work and login timings, provided you prove your worth and be trustworthy in terms of assigned work. *Work from home requests are considered for personal reasons, however transitioning to complete WFH model is a challenge if you have joined as a Office based employee. *Bonus is not performance linked, hence you'd get complete bonus at the end of defined cycle. *PPD emphasizes on knowledge and training in various processes of your domain. However, transitioning to another domain is a bit of a challenge.

...will of individuals. *Project related stress depends upon the assigned manager. *Salary and benefits are bit lower than the actual market offerings. Market corrections are not done. *Promotion is slow, when you get promoted the appraisal would be great otherwise it's not up to the mark.
