Salary Expectations
I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

Do not ever join this company for your career. They will hire you after taking a very short round of interview. Immediately, they will release Offer Letter without proper formal discussion. Then, Suddenly, after 4-5 days of joining, they will realize that your skill set does not matches with the required one. If they feel so, they could have taken interview rigorously instead of playing with emotions. So, please think 1000 times before joining this company. My close friend suffered from all this trauma. They never realized their mistake. Definitely, an employee can not be thrown away after just 5 days of joining. Culture is like everyone is boss their. Employees try to manage new joinee like they are boss.
