Salary Expectations

I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?

My team was very good that's how I survived my time here.One of the worst companies I have ever seen In my entire career, The Father Son Duo act as if they own the world here. Seriously not recommended.

The Jain's own the world-That is what they think.It is not a company but a small shop run by 2 People-Father and Son Duo!!
