The opportunities for professional growth, through training, Mentorship, and Challenging Projects have been invaluable. I truly appreciate the work-life balance the company promotes, as well as the approachable leadership team that provides regular feedback and fosters a supportive environment. The recognition of my contribution along with a few awards and rewards has kept me motivated. While the overall experience is excellent, I believe there is room for improvement in streamlining processes and enhancing interdepartmental communication to boost efficiency. I am a Social Media Specialist with over 4 years of experience and was earning around 4.5 LPA in my previous role. When I joined my current organization, I discovered that my manager, with just 2.5 years of work experience, was earning a compensation of 7.6 -8.2 LPA (approx). This was quite surprising to me, and it made me question the market standards. I am currently looking to switch roles and, based on my research through Glassdoor and other sources, I am expecting a package of 7-8 LPA. However, many HRs I’ve spoken to feel that even 6 LPA is too high. What should be the ideal salary expectation for someone with my experience in the current market?
