TCS provides employment to thousands of youth every year and the job is secure. If you are lucky and interested, you will get onsite opportunities, which is significantly higher than other service based IT firms. Other than these three points and the brand name, nothing much to like about.

...nhancement works. The real development is done by the employees of the client. The pay scale is also not that great, just comparable with other service based companies. Work life balance is poor as well. If you work in Support, you might have to be available for night shifts and weekend works more than one's a month. No team outings and other recreational activities. Very rigid / non-flexible when it comes to requests from employees like re-location. Unresponsive HR. Access to newer technologies is very rare. Laid back work culture, I would rate it as just better than government offices. Nothing much to learn and hence not a good place to start the career. It's a tailor-made company for people who are in their late 40's or early 50's who have achieved a lot in their career and now just wants to get some time off. Since the employee count is more than 4 lakh, you'll have plenty of managers and usual office politics, bureaucracy and rampant micro-management. If you are a fresher or someone just starting out, try to avoid TCS. You can join TCS later in your career after you have accomplished your goals. If you have already joined TCS but you want some more excitement in your work, try to leave. This is not the place for you.

Salary growth is very low as compared other bpo company for freshers and experience employees politics they think that we are the only boss

job security is the best part here. company culture and ethics are also greatbecause it TATA. Most of the government project and national level projects are likely to coming here. Depending on the type of project you are getting your life and experience will be super good or super bad.

very less pay scale and growth. even appraisals are given in penneies. if it is your first job, then you will be stuck at the same salary bracket for a very long time and andit's very difficult to get digital or innovator profiles being in a project which require too much effort from your side,and occasionally they keep changing the rooms and conditions also.

...only 25% of workforce will work from office by 2025 now has changed their words. Woth no work life balance, and minimum salary bands, I feel it's an organization forcing their employees to scramble with stupid policies. Being such a big organization, it should lead the Digital work Real life. But again, it is promoting and forcing employees to WFO inefficiently. It is an organization which don't give increments and promotions even if you are getting 5/5 points in reviews. In name of promotion, you will get more work and responsibilities without any increase in salary. In one word, the suffocation is increasing day by day in TCS. Also, Somebody, once joined TCS at early stage feels incompetent to the job market.

Collegues, and company cultyre of TCS should be the benchmark in IT sector. And there is always to learn something, from collegues, management, or by ourselves. Job security is excellent.

Salary and benefits doesn't do any good, as per industry standards. Appraisals and peomotions also at mercy of managers only.
