...mpensation model straight from fresher level right upto Senior Consultant level. Except board level, at all levels TCS' compensation is nearly half of where a service company of its stature should be paying to its loyal employees. Lack of actual growth opportunities reflecting in pay and designation both. TCS doesn't allow its managers to offer anything more than meager retention packages be it you're a special skill employee or a critical resource. TCS' management's rigidity on employee's expectations. I think TCS is least aligned to TATA's vision of pro employee organizations among its other TATA organizations like Tata Steel & Tata Motors.

Very stingy management Employees get only salary but no goodies, team lunches or sponsored celebrations. Laptops given are poor in condition to many and warranty of the laptops are not tracked properly. Employees are forced to pay for any damage even for a 2 year old laptop
