* Great learning opportunity for fresher if one gets to work in development project with niche technologies. * Work life balance entirely depends on the project and team, which is good generally. * Organization policies are good and are followed generally with few exceptions. * Employee friendly organization in terms of job security and well being.

Dislikes

* Below market standard salary and even internal programs to increase compensations are not properly structured and are conditional. * Appraisals and promotion totally depends upon immediate supervisor and is based upon dependency in project. * Very low yearly hikes.

Likes

Job Security is higher as compared to other private organizations. Work culture is nice. I have learned a lot in TCS. It is a kind of institution that added value to my life. People are very supportive. You will get other HR benefits as well.

Dislikes

Only they are very backward at providing compensation. If you will invest 5 years of your life in TCS as a general grade then also you will not reach to 50k per month salary in hand. They are very dull at this point. One more department is there which is RMG. People are very rude in that Depatment.

job security is the best part here. company culture and ethics are also greatbecause it TATA. Most of the government project and national level projects are likely to coming here. Depending on the type of project you are getting your life and experience will be super good or super bad.

Dislikes

very less pay scale and growth. even appraisals are given in penneies. if it is your first job, then you will be stuck at the same salary bracket for a very long time and andit's very difficult to get digital or innovator profiles being in a project which require too much effort from your side,and occasionally they keep changing the rooms and conditions also.

...only 25% of workforce will work from office by 2025 now has changed their words. Woth no work life balance, and minimum salary bands, I feel it's an organization forcing their employees to scramble with stupid policies. Being such a big organization, it should lead the Digital work Real life. But again, it is promoting and forcing employees to WFO inefficiently. It is an organization which don't give increments and promotions even if you are getting 5/5 points in reviews. In name of promotion, you will get more work and responsibilities without any increase in salary. In one word, the suffocation is increasing day by day in TCS. Also, Somebody, once joined TCS at early stage feels incompetent to the job market.

Work culture is amazing. Work life balance is also great. But with someone like me who needs work and wants to constantly learn, tcs wasn’t the place to start. It’s good for mid level careers, not for freshers.

No hikes, no motivation, no appraisals, shit salary. Failure to recognize true potential from right employee
