...uriteism under the Tata code of conduct but still it is very common in projects. Experience and talented employee get 3-4 % salary hike for YOY but favourite employee gets 7% hike minimum.

Very poor company culture, no work satisfaction. Micro management on every step of the way. Managers misuse appraisal & band rights to micromanage employee

...d like to say i was with tcs since 2019 but i have wasted my 4.5 years with tcs. One of the worst project and company, there is no life and work balance, i was joined as a Band 2 still i am Band 2, i was joined in package of 4.10 LPA now my package is 5.10 LPA after al most 5 years.

I feel glad to work with TCS and proud to be part of it. It's good to balance the work & routine activities with job security. I appreciate that benifits and safety given by Tcs.

Nothing much, But yes just want to add one thing that slow pramotion cycle and law increment in salary.

... & ben policy. Hikes every year will be always lesser than the annual inflation. Also, it puts you out of the league with the other peers in the industry in terms of your position and salary. Had a hard time to negotiate salary with the new employer and still reeling the damage it has caused. Join only if you lead a EMI free lifestyle. Better to buy shares of TCS than expecting a decent hike. The share dividend and annual increase of TCS share will be higher than your absolute increase in your salary next year. N ya.. for promotion and hike either you better be working in Mumbai, Chennai / a Parsi / TamBrahm.
