It was nice culture till last few year's but now organization is unpredictable. Onsite opportunities will keep you in organization till long time until you remember you are far behind outside talent race.

...ent. Promotion policies are not transperant and hike on promotion is negligible. TCS prefers to hire new talent which don't help them for long term but don't pay competative salary for their existing talent which forces people to explore outside World.

Few projects work culture is good, company has very good policies for employees, having good skills improvement programs.

...start ruining your career. It is becoming sarakari babu like company now a days. In the name of compensation TCS is just giving peanuts.

We have good health insurance and job security.

...cular technology. No work life balance , I used to come late in the around 2 am. Worst part is your increment , your salary will increase by 10 thousand per annum and remaining part they will put on your performance bonus. basic pay is very less compared to other IT firm. you will get promotion only if you have buttering skill. There is gym , but it just for name sake. No team outing. your manager will eat your team outing budget.

Job Security and Brand Name. Work Life balance depends on individual, as each has to decide their level of dedication to working hours. TCS Offices are good with library, canteen, coffee m/c and gym facilities.

Dislikes

Compensation is worst, attrition is high, the mid level managers are worst at most of the projects/locations.
