Great Organisation with huge strength, very detailed policies about all the aspects. Best Medical Insurance with Domiciliary claims. Wide range of projects with different domains and technologies. They also encourage employees for skill upgrade and certifications. kind of culture within a team entirely depends on the project and it has nothing to do with the organisation.

Dislikes

Salary increments are very low like max by 7-7.5% to best performers and as low as 2-3% for lower bands. For promotions everything is not clear and it also depends upon the overall account and IOU. Working with client makes a dual kind of working environment where you have to work for both client and TCS separately. It takes so much of time for the compliance and approvals. TCS is not retaining their existing employees, even if they are doing hike is very less compared to the salary given to new experienced professionals.

It used to be one of the best places to work at even with less pay than market. Lot of onsite opportunities Company core values are fantastic Health insurance is fair enough.

Dislikes

Bad supervisors/managers . Asking a release from current project might result into harassment, sometimes one will prefer to quit the company. If you ask for release that year's appraisal is just going to be bad irrespective of your performance. Sometimes manager's skill might be really different than the work and that creates misunderstandings, cold atmosphere etc etc. Only managers can provide your feedback, not the other way around. Work life balance depends project to project. Sometimes no work and sometimes terrible working conditions (12 - 15 hrs a day)

Nothing is there to be liked.. Salary pathatic, hike pthatic.. Managers worst.. HR are puppet of Managers.. Resource Management people are worthless.. if you learled some new thung and you want to move in that technology then you have to fight with everone to get the opportunity.. Getting promotion is not so easy..

Salary and benefits More deduction, Even no body knows what are those deductions in salary. People can join, who doesn't want to change the company without thinking about salary
