Working culture totally depends upon project to project but salary compensation and appraisal is very low. Learning curve depends upon employee since TCS gives lots of opportunities to learn. Job security is good you just have to be compliant to all policies. Make wise choice, if you just starting your career don't consider TCS, if you are experienced then you can definitely consider.

...t only support projects Only 5 percent possibility to get development projects There is no growth in this company, neither we get salary hike nor we get in terms of knowledge Work culture depends on project team you get, but sad truth is maximum managers are toxic they didn't their employees to grow just the want is business profit... they just get their work done from downlines. If you are knowledgeable but unfortunately you got support project they didn't give release, we know its policy, but I think there should be a filter for good employees and give development projects. etc

They discriminate hiring someone on the basis of his past employment with companies associated with the TATA group.

TCS is leading IT Company which have good culture. TCS encourage associates to learn new technologies. Learning platforms are really well. Good work-life balance.

Dislikes

Provide less salary than other IT Companies. Less increment. For freshers they assign any project irrespective of technology. Switching technology/project is not easy job in TCS.
