TCS has brand name just because of job security but it pays less or give less hike when compared to other companies, also for last year they stopped 1 year cycle of promotion appraisal which leads to increase in more resignations from the company to hold back those employees they paid upto 30 % hike, still some employees didn't retain. Instead of giving hikes to stop mass resignations please pay decent salary/hike based on yearly performance so that employee will feel good. A friendly suggestion from an ex-employee of TCS. By the way you'll not encourage rejoining of ex-employee in TCS, but the fact is even if you rejoin them 20% may join remaining will not come to TCS again, please remember that point. Thanks.
