I have great privilege working good Team members and tcs management is good in terms of supporting emergency situation.

Dislikes

Salary structure for experience person are also very poor, I think they should think about it.

Only working hours if your client doesn't want to extend. Otherwise please are doing 13-14 hrs of work in some of the third party project.

No increment on salary,no promotion, They can allocate you in any project as per requirement.

Salary is too low...no hikes...you have to always plead to your senior for everything...manager is not supporting....asking to come 5days no holidays and Ahmedabad branch is worst.... people are too rude ...talking in regional language...even they don't give permission to go home... it's too far from my hometown after joining I went home only one time...if you are sick still they don't give permission to go home even not in emergency case...they are only prioritising to rostering and office infrastructure.

Tcs being a globally known company would always care about the work life balance with having cooperative people all around. The flexibility of an employee is managed quite seamlessly. The campuses are huge and great.

Dislikes

The compensation in TCS is very low and many a times people do find themselves stuck in certain projects or on bench which on a greater scales leads to demotivating the employees

I am giving Honest review after 8+ years experience in this company. Respectful work environment, Job security (at least until Ratan Tata Sir is here) Very very hard, but chance of changing your field & get into new team/project/technology within Company across India location. I said very very very very hard in terms of getting approval from your current project & HR team though!!

...ey - you may get quickly. 12-16% Salary hike when get promotion!! Seriously?!! 2-6% Yearly hike, which mostly goes to higher medical insurance premium or variable pay. So actual on hand hike is negligible. Most Imp - Recent changes in HR policies makes Job security of employees "subjective". Trust me days are not far when TCS will also fire employees.
