After the demise of Ratan Tata, Tata Steel is no longer a place to work anymore. The Stupid HR policy, Forced Retirements, reduced number of leaves are the new normal. The only good part was the OPD medical facility which be discontinued from April onwards as well.

1. Job Security 2. Holiday Plan 3. Top management is open to hear and can be contacted easily. 4. Only good for management traines from top colleges 5. Plethora of opportunities in cross-functions to grow and learn

Dislikes

...d not clarity by heads on the tasks assignment between lL4 and lL5 employees. 2. Lateral hired employees are cheated by company in terms of pay packages , and the high pays are paid to freshers from top b-schools who are hired as Mtc over lateral employees who carry decent exposure of industry. 3. For performing sales person joining from outside, their careers is ruined. 4. Head is partial between newly joined lateral employees and the existing employees from hired as mtc. I have very strong view that if someone joining tata steel then join as MTC to get fair treatment else the company is not good for the laterally hired employees and can lead to ruin their past stable career who trust to join the firm on the name of TATA brand image in the market.

Lateral are getting higher salary with less experience, While trainees are getting so less salary. I started at 7900 basic salaries and now after 6 years, I get 15000 basic pay. Not a good hike in salary.

Dislikes

Salary structure is very bad , you will feel like , when will our salary rise, only gives raise on basic salary not on CTC.

1. Extreme Low Salary Structure of Old Employees as Compared to New & GETs. 2. Scope of Growth is Too Low, as it has strong Policy which the Normal Person is not getting Fulfilled/ or in Very Negligible Ratio as Compared to GETs & TATA STEEL deputed Personals getting benefitted.

People are nice but they don't understand the concept of work life balance. Pay is below market standards however bonus payout is good.
