I got a good opportunity to work with the people of various backgrounds. Thus I have trained myself without any specific training. In the initial stage of my carrier I was guided by my team leader and that was a very good opportunity of learning. I got an opportunity to work with various persons e.g. lawyers, consultant etc which has given me good opportunity to know more about my industry. Thus all the above has inspired me to give innovative ideas.

Dislikes

Our work was evaluated on the basis of neighboring industry of the town but the compensation was not equal and growth was also very slow. In the last phase of my service the team leader was not appreciated our experience and thus work was effected consequently I was not able to deliver as desired or required by the industry.

Likes

Good work culture, employees are respected and well taken care in terms of medical benefits, etc. A great brand value

Dislikes

Low pay (though good in it's industry type), bureaucracy at all levels and seniority based growth.

Dislikes

Less work life balance. Excessive and unnecessary paper work. Bossy culture especially after Tata Take over. No shop floor experience and guidance from seniors except few seniors. Pathetic union culture

Dislikes

poor management, slow career growth, low salary increases, extended working hours during peak periods, a perceived lack of investment in employee development, outdated HR practices, and concerns about job security due to potential plant shutdowns or restructuring.

Likes

The pay structure is still good for freshers and employee related benefits are good. However, i have worked only in Tata Steel and hence not aware about the benefits which other companies provide.

Dislikes

Growth opportunities are limited. Extreme bureaucracy and things move really slow.
