Tata projects is good and brand. But CMRL project culture is spoiling companys reputation. Dislikes at CMRL project chennai: Internal politics No other benefits except monthly salary They recognize south people only because upper management is from south. North people feeling excluded. No welfare Not providing basic PPEs to staff. We are buying spending our money. Working on holidays too. Not getting leaves approved even after three months of previous leave. No recognition and appreciation for hard working, only employees close to upper management getting promotion and recognitions. No growth in salary. No skills. If you speak for your rights then they will exclude you from all recognition even when you are working hard at sites. HR is just for namesake. Very strict timings. They will not provide vehicle for site visit. You have to go by your own vehicle if you have to carry any equipment or permits books from PMO. Very worst management. They are spoiling Tata brand name seriously.

Too many dislikes, They give a salary package which may attract you but they are not giving any other benefits, which will reduce your actual package. It will only look higher in numeric term but increase your cost of living at project sites. Your tax liability will also be increased as the CTC is higher compared to similar organisations. Don't get into trap of position, as they give higher position at supervisory role. No respect will be given for your experience. Poor working culture. They will even not provide you the basic requirement such as PPEs. Often employees are purchasing their own PPEs. No work life balance, even off during public holidays are not given. Worst culture yet for me. Their policy and practices have a huge mismatch. TPL is a blot to Tata's name and reputation.

Rude behaviours of few seniors, unethical thoughts, Un-qualified leadership, Working time, Promoting un-quaified juniors & poor knowlegde people, Poor contracting management, Poor communications etc.,

Salary on time , salary increment every year , good pay scale compared to other construction company

Work life balance is poor , on sap record company showing 9 hours shift but daily more than 12 hours you have to work at site , management policies is too good but site project director like k ramesh ( chennai metro ) total changed it and control management and make policies too much poor for employees

Poor and Toxic work culture at CMRL projects due to Top management issues . Dont care about Staff and workmen welfare measures. All Govt Holidays also need to work day and night. They will not provide the Basic PPE's also to staffs .
