Monthly salary and reimbursement credited in account on time but it was a terrible experience working for tppdl

Managers are very arrogant and highly ineffective always putting their blame on others they work to save their job not to make company grow

Likes

Provides great learning platform but growth prospects are very limited.

Dislikes

Low salary, high work pressure, exploiting use of business associate workforce by managers for own growth. No cash incentives or benefits for good work.

Likes

They have many employee benefit policy like longer maternity leaves, flexible work hours after maternity, employees benevolent fund, etc. Work life balance is also good.

Dislikes

No mentor for your job specific role. Very less pay and increments. Lot of favouritism and politics. Incompetent workers being down motivation. Promotions are the worst, there is a waiting of minimum 3 yrs in a specific role to apply for a promotion, which is then followed by interviews and then you get a minimal increment on that. Annual bonus structure is horrible.

I like the work-life culture and security of job till now.

Dislikes

Salary at supervisor, executive and middle management level is low. Rating and performance appraisal is biased and is dependent on God, you are not rated on the basis of your work, talent and efforts. I will not suggest anyone to start their career with Tata Power-DDL. It will choke all your dreams and desires.

Best place for learning purposes, if you are good at buttering your boss, u can go even upto CEO post.

Dislikes

Less salary, minimum manpower, maximum work load, office politics in appraisal rating, nonuniform distribution of work
